Bonjour à tous, merci de suivre nos dégustations familiale de miel. Je veux débuter par exprimer comment extraordinaire je trouve cette aventure. Je vous demande à plusieurs personnes de chercher du miel produit localement lors de vos voyage Votre réponse est qu'il vous fait plaisir de m'offir ce petit cadeau sucré. Mais ce que je remarque surtout est le plaisir que vous prenez à dénicher ce petit trésor. J'écoute des histoires de comment vous avez trouvez votre miel et comment amusant cette expérience-là a été pour vous. Je suis ravis de voir que notre demande ce transforme en plaisir  pour vous aussi. Merci, merci et merci, ça fait chaud au coeur d'entendre vos histoires. Notre ami Ryerson était avec nous pour cette dégustation.

I have been asking many people to get us a little sweet treasure during your trips. Your response has been just wonderful and you are all pleased to offer us this little gift. What I especially notice is how much pleasure you took to find this local honey. You tell me incredible stories of how you found the honey and how much joy it brought you. Ce petit trésor était une première pour nous, avec la cire d'abeille! Apparement il faut simplement se couper une tranche et écrasé entre sa langue et son palet la tranche et laisser le miel couler. Très délicieux. Ce miel était doux et même jusqu'a dire carrément sucré. Il avait un goût de fleurs. Il était délicieusement doux et léger, selon Ryerson. Évidement il laissait un arrière-goût de...cire!!

Well this was a first, the honey and the honeycomb. Apparently you just suck on the comb and let the sweet taste of the honey fill your mouth. This sweet and sugary honey had some flavors of flowers. It was mild and pleasantly sweet says Ryerson. Of course it had an after taste of... wax!!

L'histoire de ce miel est amusant. Mon ami Mondel a demané as sa mère de me rapporter du miel lorsqu'elle est retourné dans son pays natal, la Grenade. Quel délice. Ce miel était comme un panier de fruits de bleuets et de cerises et il était un doux délice pour le palais. Nous avons aussi eu droit à un goût de bière et de pomme cuite selon mon palais! Nous l'avons tous bien apprécié.

The story of this one is funny, my friend Mondel asked his mom to bring back the famed Grenada honey on her most recent trip back home. What a treat. This one was all about the fruits. Blueberry, cherry and a beautiful sweetness. There were some beer and cooked apple flavor I thought. In all very appreciated.

J'aime beaucoup lorsque les miels on un goût fort. Ce miel nous a bien surpris et nous en avons eu pour notre rhume. Bien que le miel soit d'une couleur légère (habituellement un miel fort est plus foncé), ce miel avec un goût bien dévelopé de réglisse. Il y avait aussi des saveux de raisin.

I just love when honey have strong taste. We were very well served with this suprizing honey. Although it was a light honey, it punched a taste of licorish. It also had some grape flavors.

Ce miel d'ici est un autre exemple que le miel de sarazin est en train de devenir mon favoris. Ce miel a une combinaison de mélasse et de sirop d'érable qui est très apprécié de mes papilles! Il termine avec une touche de chocolat caramélisé et fumé! Quoi d'autre que simplement spectaculaire.

Well this locally produced honey is another example how the buckweat honey is becoming my favorite. It has the molasse and maple syrup combo that is appreciated. Then it finishes with a touch of musky/smokey chocolat; what more can I say but wow!

Et bien voilà pour cette petite dégustation. Dans le cercle d'attente nous avons 2 miels de la Colombie-Britannique, un de l'Italie et un miel de la Turquie. À la prochaine. Laissez-nous un commentaire.

Une autre belle rencontre de voisin et de miel du monde. Notre très sympathique voisin David nous est revenu avec un grand miel de Chine. Quelle autre raison avons nous besoin pour déguster en famille. Pour l'occasion nous étions 11 personnes de 4 à 46 ans!! Les commentaires sont donc un recueil des participants

On this Good Friday, April 2nd, 2015 our family greated my super neighbor who recently brought back some Chinese honey. Do we need another reason to taste honey...I think not!! En premier le miel de Chine. To begin this taste day, the Chinese honey.


Il goute le jus de raisin, le vin, petit goût amer et sure, les fleurs, un goût léger de fleur de printemps et pour finir le plastique!!

This honey had some grape juice, wine, flower taste. It also brought sour and bitter taste, even if those were light. It tasted like delicate spring flowers, but finishes with a plastic taste.

This Aussie honey is a very popular savor in the land down under. This dark yellow honey has savors of wood and sumptuous caramel.

Ouff!! Quel goût fort et texture épaise, on dirait l'équivalent en miel de ce que la Guiness est pour la bière. Un goût très fort de mélasse,  café, d'écroce et amer.

 Wohoh! What an incredible strong and thick honey. It's probably the equivalent of what the Guiness is to beer. A strong taste of molasse, coffee, bark and bitter.

Ce miel local débute avec un goût de cire, de fleur, sirop d'érable et termine avec un air de cannelle. Bien qu'il ait un goût traditionnel, il est bien apprécié du groupe.

This local honey starts with a taste of wax, flower and maple syrup and ends with a wiff of cinnamon. Although this local honey has a traditional taste, it is nevertheless very appreciated by the group.

Ce miel fait un retour pour une autre dégustation, mais ne change pas trop. Il n'a pas perdu son goût de latex, mais démontre tout de même un peu de pomme.

This honey is back for another kick at the can. But he has not lost his latex taste, but has shown some hint of apple today.

Un beau miel Italien qui nous présente des touche de fumé, de saucisse fumée, très peu sucré. Certain y goute un chocolat et vanille et d'autre un citron. Pour moi il goutait 1970!!?

A nice Italian honey that gives us some smokey taste, such as smoked sausages with very little sweet taste. Some of us saw a chocolat and vanilla taste, while others discovered some lemony taste. For me it tasted like 1970!!?

This is very challenging, this honey presents many faces: Peach juice, apple, pineapple, sweet coffee and maple syrup.
